Na’il loves real estate, and has had a passion for the business of real estate investing since his childhood. As the son of an investor, real estate broker, mortgage broker, and certified general appraiser, Na’il’s early introduction to real estate makes him very comfortable sourcing and analyzing investment opportunities across several submarkets and asset classes.
Na’il did his first real estate deal in 2001, and shortly thereafter, partnered with his father in the development of a townhome development. Over the years, Na’il has been involved with numerous commercial real estate deals as an attorney, advisor, broker, and investor.
Although Na’il has partnered with numerous investors in the acquisition of large-scale multi-family assets, his investment model remains focused on pursuing performing assets with specific partners that are best-suited for that particular deal. It is critically important to partner with investors that embody analyzing the specific sub-market, understanding true rent and sales comps, and stress-testing all key aspects of the financial model. Most people can identify an investment that might yield a return, but Na’il values conservative analytics that help exclude the investments that suffer from too much risk.
Investing with Nvested Equity should always be a win-win, and that is why Na’il heavily invests in the due-diligence process and spends time with the property, its surrounding areas, and the key comparables. Yes, it is time consuming. But most importantly, these substantive evaluations are absolute necessities.
This approach has led to meaningful relationships with debt partners, equity partners, and commercial real estate brokers across the country. Our current portfolio includes hundreds of units ranging from value-add Class C+ properties, to new construction Class A, to mixed-use Class A. The Nvested Equity ecosystem is growing, and we are actively adding amazing assets to the balance sheet.
